AAIT
A responsive public website and self-service content platform for the Athletics Association of Terceira Island.
AAIT · PUBLIC SITE + CONTENT MANAGEMENT
One reliable home for the association
The AAIT needed a clear, mobile-friendly place where athletes and the local community could find upcoming competitions, results, official documents and event photos. The association also needed to keep that information current without relying on a developer for every update.

Public experience and back office together
I built the public experience and the administration panel in one Next.js application. Firebase Authentication protects the back office, Firestore stores structured content and Storage handles uploaded media, keeping the system small enough to operate while giving each concern a clear boundary.

A focused content model
The content layer exposes typed operations for competitions, documents and gallery images. Public pages and admin tools use the same records, so a published update appears in the right place without duplicating content or presentation logic.

A site the association can run
The result is a responsive five-page public experience backed by four dedicated management areas. Visitors get direct routes to the information they need, while the AAIT team can maintain competitions, result links, documents and photos through its own authenticated workflow.
